What is error 1328?when i am downloading office it showing erro applying patch to file c:\config.Msi\PT430.tmp

i am using office 2000 with xp,i am try to download office service pack 1,2 that time this error is showing,"error 1328,error applying patch to file c:\config.Msi\PT430.tmp.it has probably be updated by other mean,and can no longer be modified by this patch.what is this?how can i solve this problem plz help me?
